Wow this has put everything Iā€™m feeling into words. You are so very not alone! Not alone in how you feel and not alone if you need a virtual shoulder. We are many, more than we know. we need to stand strong, stay in our power and when loneliness, despair, loss and every other emotion kicks in to start to bring us down we just need to remind ourselves that we are doing this for future generations. For our children, their children and beyond. This is what keeps me strong. Breaking open and letting go is what we need to do. Trust and have faith. Thank you so much - powerfully written šŸ™

Thank you for your kind words Jane šŸ™šŸ’• it means a lot. From the low vaccination rate in both the UK & Germany, we see that there are indeed more of us than they let in.

And you are quite right. People don't seem to realise that if this is allowed to stay for much longer, we will never be free again.

I thank you again and wish you well šŸ’•

Thatā€™s excellently written . I feel every sentence . Iā€™ve been removed from social media for daring to use the words experimental, vaccine , and kids in the same tweet , Iā€™m now cut off from communicating from people Iā€™ve known for ten years . I see the idiotic complicity all around me and oscillate between despair and anger . I will never give in to this though ! Never .

I am very sorry to hear that. The censorship lately is just disgusting. Our essential freedoms are vanishing, yet the media does nothing more than aid the division. I will also not ever comply.

And thank you for your kind words. We are definately larger in number than the media would suggest. We all need to stick together to stop this madness before it is too late.

Yes. I think where we are heading is terrifying. This article is also worth a read, as well as Emilia's latest article. It is not receiving the media attention it deserves.

Dear friends, I am German living in the near of Munich. I would like to apologize from the bottom of my heart.

I was vaccinated in June and got injured, but thatā€™s not the point here. I canā€™t believe whatā€™s going on in this country, the hate and discrimination of the unvaccinated.

My collegues, my friends - all comply, but not because they believe in the stories they are being told, no, itā€™s only for their ā€žfreedomā€œ. They are not interested in the believes of other persons, not interested to help. Super selfish and cold!

Iā€˜m so sorry and ashamed. :-(

Thank you so much for your comments. But you also have nothing to be sorry for. You have done nothing wrong. You have also been deceived and harmed. I just hope you make a full recovery.

šŸ™

They are indeed many cold and selfish people, who ironically have the audacity to call those exercising their human rights as the selfish one.

We are both agreed and on the same side, standing against this hatred and discrimination.

Again, thank you for posting and sharing this. You take care and stay strong. I really think that things will start to change in Germany.

Well, i have hope still at least.

I still have hope too. Will try my best to awake people and share my husbandā€™s and my injury-story.

Thank youā£ļø

Good šŸ™ Without hope, they win. Again, I am so sorry for what has happened to both of you and wish you both a full recovery in time.

You are so very brave to do so in these times, and you have my upmost respect and gratitude for what you are doing to share your story and that of everybody else who has been injured and is now excluded šŸ™šŸ’•āœŠ

Like you I lived alone in a small apartment in Frankfurt. November and December 2020 were the hardest, months of lockdown, the cold isolating german culture, and the sunrise at 9am and sunset at 3pm.

I escaped germany on September 2021, 1 week before grocery stores were allowed to check the covid passport at will. Like you I am unvaccinated and was progressively more isolated.

I hated germany and it made sense to me the history they have, which they are repeating again.

This underdeveloped country feels freer than the nazis who rule and live in today's germany, following the footsteps of their ancestors.

Escape that hellhole, it's worth it.

Thank you for sharing your story. Yes, last Christmas alone and isolated was one the hardest times of my life.

The news of potentially being banned from supermarkets was very stressful that month, so I do understand why you left.

I have actually just lost my job, so I now have nothing to stay for. Am currently back in the UK seeing my parents. And I couldn't be happier to be out of that madness

Oh my! Losing the job is super harsh :' ( I've been there

Did you know that if you wroked in Germany for at least 1 year you can apply for what they call "unemployment benefit I" where the Gov (meaning: the massive taxes you paid to Germany) will give you 60% of your salary for half of the time you were employed, healt insurance included...It's basically a partial refund of the huge amount of taxes we're obliged to pay in Germany, the ones deducted automatically from your payslip and the others you are obliged to pay (tv tax and other bullshit)

Stay strong and take your vit D to combat the winter hit which combined with all the repression going on there makes it worst

It would have been cool to meet while in Frankfurt

I re-read you comment...

You're in the UK now...phew better than in Germany

Brits are more free minded than ze Germans, thankfully

Germans I told the following went crazy: thank God the US (helped by the UK) won WWII and not ze Germans so we got to live in a free world led by the US and not ze Germans...Muahahah I told them this many many times, they flipped each time

Be free my friend

I have lived in Germany since 2009 and one of those subtle differences I have observed between Brits and Germans is that Germans seem to love rules and enjoy following them unquestionably. There is no rebelling against the rules regardless of how ridiculous or petty they are. When the curfew was in force, myself and a couple of fellow Brits were the only ones that snuck out and met up for a beer because our local pub was closed(still is closed). If neighbours had found out they probably would have called the police, even my German wife was against it. The compliance is astounding.

I totally agree. My colleagues are the same when something unexpected occurs. They are not prepared if there is no script to follow.

During the curfews I was suprised by how few people were out. I breached it many times as I refused to be stuck alone in my flat.

Sadly I suspect you are correct. I have heard colleagues complain about their neighbours actions so think they have indeed contacted the police.

History is again repeating itself, yet somehow, 2 thirds of the population simply cannot see it.

What a powerful piece - one of the best I have read from Germany so far. I agree with every word and am beyond happy that my family and I decided to leave our home of 28 years to return to Ireland a few years ago. Your piece reflects other reports I have heard from friends in Germany who, like you, have remained steadfast in their refusal to bow to the vicious command to become vaccinated. Check out Tanja Bonessā€˜ Change and Evolve newsletter here - she is a kindred spirit from Bavaria. Keep writing and smiling - there are more of you in Germany than you suspect.

Thank you for the kind words and sorry I've not seen this response sooner. I also follow Tanja and think she has read this and a few other articles I've written. Sadly this was removed from Medium as it was going viral. So very few people read it in the end.

It has been a horrible few years in Germany. Masking only ended in Feb this year. In 2023!! Anyway... I thank you for your comment and for taking the time to read this x

This brought tears to my eyes. I donā€™t know how weā€™ll ever forgive the way people have hardened their hearts. Itā€™s been very hard to see them turn off their empathy for self preservation while calling us selfish. I carry so much hurt in my heart.
